The Akai MPC60-II is a legendary sampler & drum machine. Originally released in 1991, it's been a favorite of hip-hop & electronic producers for over three decades. DJ Shadow's classic album "Entroducing...." was produced entirely on one of these bad boys. This illustration pays homage to some of the cosmic lo-fi jankiness that the machine is known for.
